Welcome to www.karjathaven.in (“Website”), operated by Karjat Haven. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our platform to book villas and apartments or list your property as a host.

By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. General Overview

  • Karjat Haven is an online platform that connects property owners (“Hosts”) with users seeking short-term rental accommodations (“Guests”).
  • Our platform facilitates bookings and payment processing. We do not own or manage any listed properties.

2. User Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking or list a property.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration, booking, or property submission process.

3. Bookings and Payments

  • Guests can make bookings directly through the website.
  • A part-payment or full payment can be made online via credit/debit card, UPI, or other integrated payment gateways.
  • If part payment is made online, the remaining amount must be paid directly at the time of check-in.
  • Confirmation of booking will be sent via email or SMS after successful payment.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations by Guests must be made through the website or by contacting our support team.
  • Refunds for cancellations depend on the cancellation policy stated on the property listing.
  • Karjat Haven reserves the right to cancel bookings under exceptional circumstances (e.g. safety issues, fraud, or natural calamities), and in such cases, a full refund will be initiated.

5. Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in and check-out timings are as per the details provided on the respective property listing.
  • Guests must present valid identification at the time of check-in.

6. Responsibilities of Guests

  • Guests must adhere to the property’s house rules.
  • Any damage to the property during the stay will be the Guest’s responsibility and may be chargeable.
  • Illegal activities, disturbances, or violations of local laws during the stay will not be tolerated and may lead to immediate cancellation of the booking.

7. Hosting & Subscription Services

  • Hosts can subscribe to our listing service to showcase their property on our platform.
  • Subscriptions may be monthly, quarterly, or annually, depending on the chosen plan.
  • Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listing information and must keep availability updated.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or remove listings that violate our terms or mislead guests.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Karjat Haven is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience arising from the use of any property listed on the platform.
  • We act only as an intermediary between hosts and guests.

9. Privacy Policy

  • Use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we handle your personal information.

10. Modifications to Terms

  • Karjat Haven may revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform after such changes will constitute your consent to the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
